I approach the therapeutic relationship holistically, by using modalities rooted in Humanistic and Feminist theory, while also being grounded by my constant study of Neurobiology. I have extensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Informed Care, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.
I have an eclectic style, and enjoy educating clients about mindfulness techniques and neurobiology; because knowledge empowers, and helps us to navigate the emotional landscape while intergrating our experience into our daily lives.
