Therapeutic Orientation:

My work incorporates developmental theory (psychodynamic, attachment, and intersubjectivity) and contemplative, meditative, and mindfulness-based approaches to personal and interpersonal growth, emotional healing, and spiritual transformation. Over the last 20 years, I have trained extensively in both psychological and spiritual methodologies and practices.

My passionate interest and focus is whole-self integration. I Have a particular interest in how spirituality can serve as a defensive function, the ways spiritual beliefs and practices can be used to avoid unresolved emotional wounding. I am passionate about exploring this phenomenon, its adaptive and maladaptive expressions, how practitioners might cultivate a greater awareness of it, and the nature of an integral response.

About Statement:

I am a spiritual ally and counselor working to help individuals integrate entheogenic experiences.

I create spiritually-based, psychologically- and emotionally-informed programing for individuals seeking to integrate transpersonal experiences. I work in partnership with trusted psychotherapists, spiritual teachers, and practitioners nationwide. I have a Masters in Integral Psychology from John F. Kennedy University, where my research interests were in contemporary psychodynamic/relational theory and contemplative approaches to psychospiritual development and healing. I am interested in the dialogue between Western, developmental models and mindfulness-based, meditative methods of inquiry and practice as well as transpersonal and non-ordinary states of consciousness.
