Tara Samiy, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist with special interests in the experience and function of non-ordinary states of consciousness, psychosis and other extreme states, spiritual crises or emergence, culturally sensitive and trauma informed care, and embodied inquiry via body-based and movement practices. She has a psychotherapy practice in San Francisco where she blends clinical skills with somatic awareness practices in her work with individual adults and adolescents. She also teaches embodied inquiry and movement via one-on-one and group classes.
